On September 27, 2013 at the Consulate General of Greece in New York, a Neolithic clay figurine of a seated female figure of 7.6 cm, with origins from Thessaly was handed over to Minister of Culture and Sport Mr P. Panagiotopoulos by the Consul General Mr. G. Iliopoulos.
The figurine was returned to the Consulate General of Greece in New York by Dr Jerome Eisenberg, Director of the Royal Athena Galleries, as a donation to the Archaeological Museum of Larissa.
