The Ambassador of Greece, Ms. Maria Papakonstantinou, presented today a copy of her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov.

During the constructive discussion that followed, both sides underscored the current momentum in bilateral relations, in the positive aftermath of the meetings between Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

In view of the upcoming Greece–Azerbaijan Political Consultations and the Joint Interministerial Committee to be held in Athens, prospects for further deepening bilateral cooperation were discussed, inter alia, in the fields of energy, tourism, economy, investments, connectivity, shipping, transport, agriculture and culture.
