Information required for military recruitment purposes

ANNOUNCEMENT

All male Greek citizens born in 1999 are requested to present themselves to the Armed Forces Department of the General Consulate of Greece in Chicago between January 2nd and March 31st 2017, in order to submit required information regarding national military service, such as  address, telephone number, e-mail, level of education, etc.

The information can be submitted by the individual himself and by appointment only.

All individuals should provide a male registry certificate from any Municipality of Greece. A Greek ID or passport should also be presented.

In case of serious health problems, official medical evidence should also be submitted translated.

Please note that, unless the above information is submitted by March 31st, 2017 deadline.
