B.MARRIAGE

In the case of two Greek citizens, we require:

-The original marriage certificate.

-Passports and/or identity cards.

-A certificate of family status for the Greek citizen.

In the case of one Greek citizen and one foreign citizen, we require:

-The original marriage certificate.

-Passports and/or identity cards.

-A certificate of family status for the Greek citizen.

-The foreign citizen’s birth certificate, translated into Greek by a translator recognized by our Consular Authority in Denmark. If the foreign citizen is not a national of a European Union member state, foreign public documents must bear the Apostille stamp.

-A solemn declaration regarding the marital status of the foreign citizen.

The declaration for the registration of the marriage act must be made in person by the holder of Greek citizenship at the Consular Office.
