Greece, as a member state of the European Union and NATO and an elected member of the United Nations Security Council, has proven over time that it consistently works for stability, good neighborly relations and peace.
Both the bilateral cooperation between Greece and Israel, and the trilateral cooperation between Greece, the Republic of Cyprus and Israel, as well as Greece's all other formats of trilateral cooperation, aim at peace and are not directed against third parties.
Greece shapes its foreign policy independently, does not accept lecturing, nor does it owe explanations to anyone. Scaremongering and attempts to distort reality are of no use, especially in this period of regional instability and uncertainty.
