In the context of the broader digital upgrading of the state and having as main objective the improvement of the daily life of Greeks living abroad and the strengthening of their ties with Greece, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with other institutions, designs, implements and makes available to Greeks abroad a series of modern digital tools and applications.

The Digital Request Management Service (e-proxeneio) of the MFA, which offers the possibility of remote service, the multilingual "Virtual Assistant" (Chatbot) of the Consular Authorities, which responds to main questions in 19 languages, as well as the special section for Greeks Abroad of the DigiGov Community Portal ( gov. gr) and the online appointment with a Consular Authority (My Consul Live) with the multilingual “Digital Assistant” are new digital tools, constantly evolving, which offer alternative ways of communication and interaction with the citizen, provide accurate and updated information, improve the quality of the services provided and contribute to faster and more effective service to citizens, with or without their physical presence, in his their transactions with the state via the Greek Consular Authorities.
