Bilateral Relations

Uzbekistan

Greece and Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations in 1992. The Embassy of Greece in Uzbekistan started operating in May 2025.

Uzbekistan is represented in Greece by its Embassy in Rome.

Useful Information
While bilateral relations are limited, there is a common willingness to bolster political, trade and economic ties. The two countries are seeking to renew their contractual framework. There is a mutual support for candidacies in international organisations. The Foreign Ministers of Greece and Uzbekistan have held two meetings in 2022 and 2023 on the sidelines of international fora.
