Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy and the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (17.09.2025)

A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy (HDA) and the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), aimed at strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation, was signed on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, by the HDA Director, Ambassador Michael Diamessis, and the Dean of NKUA’s School of Law, Professor Konstantinos Christodoulou, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Teresa Angelatou, and the NKUA’s Rector, Professor Gerasimos Siasos.

This Memorandum establishes the foundations for a common framework of action designed to enhance mutual understanding, promote research and academic exchanges, and encourage the sharing of views, experiences, best practices, and expertise.

In this context, the areas of cooperation between the HDA and the School of Law include, among others, the exchange of academics, teaching staff, diplomats, researchers, and experts in fields of mutual interest, the joint organization of scientific seminars and events, as well as mutual facilitation of access to the library services of both institutions.
The signing ceremony was also attended by the HDA Director of Studies, Minister Plenipotentiary Michail Angelopoulos, Professor Linos-Alexandros Sicilianos, as well as other members of the School of Law teaching staff.
