Diplomatic Service

The Service is open to university graduates, regardless of their degree. Among the prerequisites for the participation in the special entry exams, held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at least once a year, is excellent knowledge of both English and French. The successful candidates attend the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy (HDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After the completion of a nine-month training, they participate in the final exams of the HDA, and those who succeed are appointed as Embassy Attachés.
