A training seminar entitled “Leadership in the Public Sector: The Critical Skills of the New Era” was held on Wednesday, 18 February. It was organized by the Office of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the initiative of the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy, within the framework of the continuing training of the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The aim of the seminar was to promote and enhance the necessary skills enabling employees to respond effectively and flexibly to the constantly evolving operational needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The keynote speaker was Elisabeth Calbari, a neuropsychologist and leadership consultant with many years of experience in the field. Through a modern approach, she highlighted the importance of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, empathy, trust, and resilience as key pillars of effective leadership in the public sector.
The seminar concluded with an open and meaningful discussion, with the participation of the attendees.
