Under the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassies of Greece in Tel Aviv and Cairo and the Consulate General of Greece in Jerusalem, the repatriation of 105 Greek citizens and their family members from Israel was safely completed today, Wednesday, June 18.
They were transported to Athens from Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, by C-130 and C-27 aircrafts of the Hellenic Air Force.
The return of European and third-country nationals was also facilitated though the above-mentioned flight, including among others, from Albania, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic and consular Authorities of Greece in the region remain in position to provide any possible assistance.
