Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for European Affairs, Tasos Chatzivasileiou, travelled to New York, U.S., on Wednesday, September 23, for a two-day visit to attend the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly.
Mr. Chatzivasileiou attended the speech of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, before the United Nations General Assembly.
Moreover, the Deputy Minister attended a UN Security Council briefing on the Ukrainian issue, chaired by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot.
Finally, Mr. Chatzivasileiou joined a discussion in the context of the 37th High-Level Meeting held by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, titled “Rebuilding Trust, Cooperation and Global Stability for a Shared Future”.
