Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yannis Loverdos, will travel to Cyprus from August 26th to 28th, 2025, to participate in the World Conference of Cypriots Diaspora, where he will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony.
During his visit, the Deputy Minister will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, His Beatitude the Archbishop of New Justiniana and All Cyprus, Mr. Georgios, and the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Demetriou. He will also hold a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Constantinos Kombos.
While in Cyprus, the Deputy Minister will visit the military cemetery of the “Tymvos of Makedonitissa,” the “Imprisoned Graves,” and the ELDYK military camp in Malounda, where he will lay wreaths.
Finally, the Deputy Minister will also meet with representatives of Greek associations residing in Cyprus.
