Following the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, and the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swiss House for Culture, Research and Diplomacy was officially inaugurated.
The inauguration was led by the Swiss Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ιοannis Loverdos.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of this new hub, highlighting that the Swiss House will further contribute to the strengthening of Greek-Swiss relations. He also referred to the ties between the two countries, which date back to the 19th century and have been established through a long tradition of cooperation in the fields of diplomacy, education, science and culture.
