The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion, Tasos Chatzivasileiou visited Odessa on Tuesday, April 1.
Mr. Chatzivasileiou attended the celebrations marking the anniversary of the Greek War of Independence, organized by the Consulate General in Odessa.
During the events, he had the opportunity to visit the Museum of the Philiki Etaireia and talk to members of the Greek Diaspora.
In his address, the Deputy Minister expressed the government's unwavering support to the Hellenism of Ukraine and underlined that achieving a ceasefire is an immediate priority and the first step towards establishing a lasting and stable peace in the region.
