Dear colleagues,
It is a great honour and a great pleasure to welcome you here today. The ties between our two countries are long-standing and exceptionally strong.
Thank you all for being here today. It is a great honour and a great pleasure to have the French delegation with us.
I would like to say that this is a wonderful moment to have the French delegation here at this very critical juncture for our continent and the world. And it is wonderful, particularly because today we make our partnership even stronger, geopolitically, diplomatically, financially. It's a new era for our relationship. I would like to say that in three years from now, we will celebrate 200 years of diplomatic ties. Amazingly, we established diplomatic ties before the establishment of the modern Greek State, and that indicates exactly the depth of our fraternity, the depth of our historic vision.
I'm really delighted to just be here today with you and host you with my colleagues and our friends.
Long live France, Long live Greece, Long live Franco-Hellenic relations.
