In his statements on France 24’s English-language news programme, Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas stressed the importance of French-German relations in consolidating peace in the region and promoting the European integration process. He expressed the hope that the special relationship between the two states will continue to play a catalytic role in the efforts to bring the Eurozone out of the crisis.
Referring to the outlook for the Greek economy, he expressed his optimism that Greece will very soon achieve a primary surplus, assisted by the reforms already being implemented with the ultimate goal of bringing relief to the Greek people.
