Alternate Foreign Minister Euclid Tsakalotos met at the Foreign Ministry today, Thursday, 26 March 2015, with the UK Ambassador to Greece, John Kittmer.
During their meeting they had an in-depth discussion of the current economic developments in Greece and the Eurozone. With regard to the reforms being promoted by the government, Mr. Tsakalotos referred to the new government’s vision for every reform to be an intrinsic part of a whole that will lead to transition from the vicious cycle of austerity to a just cycle of growth.
Finally, there was particular interest on the part of Mr. Kittmer in the course and the results of the negotiations with the European partners, and Mr. Tsakalotos noted that there is will on both sides to find a mutually acceptable and beneficial solution.
