The Alternate Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Nikos Xydakis, met at the Foreign Ministry today with Montenegro’s Deputy Foreign Minister for European Integration and Head Negotiator, Aleksandar Andrija Pejović. The Montenegrin politician had beforehand held consultations with high-ranking diplomats, heads of the competent directorates, during which there was an in-depth discussion of the course of Montenegro’s accession negotiations.
During Mr. Xydakis’ meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, a review was carried out of Montenegro’s course towards accession to the European Union. Moreover, the discussion covered current European affairs, including the European Union’s relations with the UK and the refugee crisis.
