Alternate Foreign Minister Nikos Xydakis will participate on Sunday and Monday, 24 and 25 July, in the proceedings of the informal meeting of the EU General Affairs Council (GAC), which will take place in Bratislava.
The GAC agenda includes:
a) Assessment of the implementation of the European Council’s Strategic Agenda (June 2014) and redefining of priorities for acceleration of the implementation of the Agenda’s goals.
b) Finding ways to improve the EU’s communication strategy, with the aim of halting euroskepticism and the centrifugal trends observed in the Union and expressed in the result of the British referendum.
