Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Katrougalos, will participate in the two-day Informal "Gymnich" Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the European Union, which will take place in Bucharest today, Thursday 31 January, and tomorrow, 1 February.
Talks are expected to focus on the recent developments in Venezuela, as well as on the situation in Syria, the Eastern Partnership, and EU relations with China.
Immediately following the proceedings of the Meeting, Mr. Katrougalos will attend an Informal Working Luncheon hosted by the Romanian Presidency, at which the situation in the Western Balkans will be discussed.
On the margins of the Meeting, the Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold, on Friday, 1 February, bilateral meetings with his counterparts.
