“The international community rejects Erdogan’s revisionism.” This was among things stressed by the Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, in his interview on ERT’s Proto Programma, with journalists T. Siafakas and G. Neroutsos.
Mr. Varvitsiotis underscored that in today’s meeting with the U.S. President, the Prime Minister will present Turkey’s provocative conduct, the manner in which Turkey is blatantly violating the rules of International Law through the memorandum it has signed with Libya, and the fact that Greece is the country of stability in the wider region.
He pointed out that our country’s advantages include the signing of the EastMed agreement and the fact that Greece remains a trusted interlocutor that has stability in its foreign policy and is a defender of international legality.
