The Alternate Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, today met with the French Ambassador, Christophe Chantepy.
During the courtesy visit from the French Ambassador, the excellent relations between the two countries were reaffirmed. Emphasis was given to issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation and issues of common European interest.
Other topics discussed included current developments in the European Union, the European prospect of Western Balkans countries, and Turkey’s illegal activities in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of the Republic of Cyprus.
