Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis will travel to Brussels on Monday, 17 February, to attend the extraordinary meeting of the EU General Affairs Council.
The only item on the Council’s agenda is preparation of the special meeting of the European Council, on 20 February, on the multiannual financial framework for 2021-2027. The Alternate Minister will accompany the Prime Minister to the Summit.
During his stay in Brussels, on Tuesday, 18 February, Mr. Varvitsiotis will meet with European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas. On Wednesday, 19 February, he will meet with Greek MEPs.
