Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis will participate in the third Plenary Session of the Conference on the Future of Europe, to be held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 January.
The plenary will discuss the recommendations by national panels and European citizens' panels and will review the progress made so far in the Conference's work on (a) European democracy, (b) values and rights, rule of law, security, (c) climate change and the environment and d) health.
It is noted that, before the start of the Plenary’s proceedings, the Plenary members will pay tribute to the late President David Sassoli.
