At 11:00 on Monday, 18 January 2021, Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Miltiadis Varvitsiotis will participate, via videoconference, in an informal meeting of the EU General Affairs Council (GAC). The main item on the agenda is preparation for the European Council meeting of 21 January, which is being convened to coordinate the response to the pandemic. The GAC agenda also includes a presentation of the priorities of the Portuguese Presidency, the Conference on the Future of Europe, and other topics.
