The Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, will travel to the Czech Republic today in order to represent the Prime Minister at the Friends of Cohesion Summit.
At the Summit, the participating officials are expected to discuss and adopt a joint statement concerning the amount of financing for the Cohesion Policy in the new Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 of the EU.
Additionally, Mr Varvitsiotis will meet with Aleš Chmelař, the State Secretary for European Affairs of the Czech Republic, as well as Milena Hrdinkova, the State Secretary for European Affairs.
