The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deep sorrow for the loss of Petros Molyviatis.
Petros Molyviatis served the country for decades as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Member of Parliament, Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic and diplomat in crucial posts such as the Embassies of Greece in Moscow and Ankara, as well as the Permanent Missions to the United Nations and NATO.
He was distinguished for his integrity, prudence, insight, and excellent knowledge of diplomatic affairs — qualities for which he enjoyed the universal appreciation and respect.
The political and service leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its entirety extend their sincere condolences to his family and relatives.
