Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Italy and Portugal (13 January 2021)

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Italy and Portugal tomorrow, Wednesday, 13 January.

In Rome, Mr. Dendias will meet with his Italian counterpart, Luigi Di Maio, to discuss bilateral and European issues, as well as the latest regional developments.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then travel on to Portugal, which holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the first half of 2021. Mr. Dendias will meet in Lisbon with his Portuguese counterpart, Augusto Santos Silva, and their talks will focus on, among other things, priorities and issues of common interest in the context of the European Union, including EU-Turkey relations.
