We express our sadness at the loss of former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. A Nobel peace laureate, Kofi Annan leaves a long legacy in the work he did in Ghana, in Africa and at the UN, an Organization whose values and principles Greece has long embraced and supported.
Kofi Annan will remain in our memories for his efforts in promoting peace and diplomacy, despite our differences of opinion in certain instances, his progressive ideals and his humanitarian work.
