Deputy Foreign Minister Ioannis Amanatidis met today, Friday, 8 April 2016, with the European Commissioner for Migration and Home Affairs, Dimitris Avramopoulos, on the margins of the international “Geneva Conference on Preventing Violent Extremism – The Way Forward,” which took place at the UN Offices in Geneva.
During the meeting, the two sides focused on the migration/refugee issue, while there was an in-depth discussion of the latest developments in the implementation of the EU-Turkey agreement.
