Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas will carry out a visit to Cyprus on Monday and Tuesday, 25 and 26 August.
Mr. Gerontopoulos will meet on Monday with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulides, and Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus. He will also visit Stamboulis Military Base, in Malounta, and in the evening he will address the opening of the 25th conference of Overseas Cypriots.
On Tuesday Mr. Gerontopoulos will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, at the Presidential Palace. He will then meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yiannakis Omirou, and he will be briefed by the Minister for Energy, Industry and Tourism, Giorgos Lakkotrypis, on the issue of hydrocarbons, and by Finance Minister Haris Georgiadis on Economic issues.
