Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos will carry out a visit to Hungary from Monday, 30 September, to Thursday, 3 October, to participate in a Tom Lantos Institute conference on “Jewish Life and Anti-Semitism in Contemporary Europe.”
Within the framework of his stay, Mr. Gerontopoulos will meet with the Metropolitan of Austria and Exarch of Hungary and Mid-Europe Arsenios. He will also meet with members of the Self-Government of the Greeks of Hungary and other organizations of the Greek Hungarian community.
Finally, Mr. Gerontopoulos will visit Beloiannisz village and the chair of modern Greek studies at the Eotvos Lorand University’s School of Philosophy.
