Deputy FM Kourkoulas meets with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Sudan, Kamal Ismael Saeed Abdelraheem (Zappeion, 11 June 2014)

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas met at Zappeion today, on the margins of the EU-Arab League Ministerial Meeting, within the context of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union, with Sudanese Deputy Foreign Minister Kamal Ismael Saeed Abdelraheem, with whom he discussed bilateral issues and matters concerning EU-Sudan relations.

During the meeting, the Sudanese Deputy Foreign Minister underscored his country’s interest in attracting investments and upgrading its trade relations, and he briefed Mr. Kourkoulas on the prospects for upgrading economic cooperation between the two countries on the level of trade, investments and transport technology.

Finally, they agreed on a Greek business mission’s being carried out to Sudan soon, to explore the prospects for economic cooperation.
