Deputy FM Kourkoulas on visit Algeria (4-6 November 2014)

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas will visit Algeria from 4 to 6 November 2014, accompanied by Greek businesspersons active in the sectors of energy, production and marketing of petroleum products, construction and building materials, food, retailing, microelectronics, and aquaculture and other production sectors.

Mr. Kourkoulas will meet with the Algerian Minister for Industry and Natural Resources, responsible for economic diplomacy, Bouchouareb Abdeslam, Energy Minister Yousfi Youcef, Public Works Minister Kadi Abkelkader, and the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the Cities, Tebboune Abdelmadjid.

Mr. Kourkoulas will deliver an address at the opening ceremony of the business forum being organized at the initiative of the Greek Foreign Ministry, during which an agreement will be signed on the setting up of a business council between the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and the corresponding Algerian agency. The forum’s priorities are the further development of bilateral economic and trade relations, as well as of the energy cooperation between the two countries.
