The Deputy Foreign Minister for International Economic Relations, Dimitris Mardas, yesterday met with his Georgian counterpart, Mikheil Janelidze.
During the meeting, Mr. Mardas stressed that the excellent level of the relations between the two countries should also be reflected in the economic field, at the same time highlighting the need for closer and mutually beneficial cooperation in the sectors of construction, tourism, services and agricultural products. Mr. Janelidze expressed the will for further tightening of bilateral economic relations, while thanking our country for its ongoing support for Georgia’s Euroatlantic perspective.
Mr. Mardas also attended a dinner hosted yesterday by the Georgian Ambassador to Greece, with the parallel presentation of the trade and investment prospects that exist between the two countries.
