At a working meeting at the Foreign Ministry today, the Alternate Economy Minister for Tourism Issues, E. Kountoura, and Deputy Foreign Minister D. Mardas discussed all of the tourism issues that are to be tabled at the meeting of the 9th Greek-Russian Joint Interministerial Committee (JIC).
The Greek-Russian JIC will take place in Sochi, on 23 and 24 November, and will cover all issues of bilateral economic relations.
Moreover, regarding the new budget of the Tourism Ministry, and given the fact that tourism is a key pillar of the country’s extroversion policy, Mr. Mardas submitted specific proposals for attracting tourist and promoting the country abroad, and these proposals will be discussed in greater detail at a future meeting that will also look at determining the steps for their implementation.
