Following the presentation on 26 April 2016, at the Foreign Ministry’s Kranidiotis Amphitheatre, of the “Island of Art and Philosophy” cultural project, by the originator of the idea, Alexandros Kantzis, Electrical Engineer of National and Metsovio Polytechnic, and the project planning team, made up of K. Galanopoulos, F. Giannakopoulos, G. Grilla, A. Theodorakopoulos, N. Thymaki and P. Bletas, a meeting was held at the office of Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Mardas, with members of the above team, for the purpose of discussing the project and the process for its implementation.
During the meeting there was a discussion of the content of actions until such time as there is expression of will to participate on the part of interested UN member states and, specifically, the manner in which to complete the detailed presentation of the project to these states, as well as the project’s promotion in each UN member state, through a specially designed campaign.
