Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Mardas today completed a working visit to Palestine (1-2 August), in preparation for the business mission to be carried out to Israel and Palestine in November of this year. During his meetings, Mr. Mardas focused on the sectors of construction, construction materials, renewable energy sources, and water supply (provision/transport), as priority sectors for this November’s business mission.
During his visit to Ramallah, Mr. Mardas met with Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Tayser Farahat, the Deputy Foreign Minister for European Affairs,. Amal Jadou, Minister for Local Administration Dr. Hussein Al-Aaraj, Finance and Planning Minister Shukri Bishara, and the President of the Palestine Construction Association, Marwan Jomaa.
Within the framework of his visit, Mr. Mardas also met with His Most Godly Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.
