Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas participated in the Croatia Forum 2014 high-level meeting, which was dedicated to the European perspective of the Western Balkans. Participants included Ministers of EU and Southeast European states, New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray Stuart McCully, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksey Meshkov, and the Chairman of the Chinese National People’s Congress (NPC) External Relations Committee, Fu Ying.
Mr. Kourkoulas spoke on fundamental European values and their importance in the enlargement process.
On the margins of the Forum, Mr. Kourkoulas had bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of New Zealand and Kosovo, Murray Stuart McCully and Enver Hoxhaj, respectively.
