Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Amanatidis represented the government at the events marking 19 April, the day of Lord Byron’s death and Philhellenism and International Solidarity day.
At the conclusion of the events, Mr. Amanatidis stated that there needs to be a constant struggle for freedom, solidarity and peace, ideas for which the Philhellenism movement long fought, and which Lord Byron served during his life.
