Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantinos Vlasis meets with the Kazakh Ambassador to Greece, Αlexey Volkov (30 September 2020)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantinos Vlasis met today at his office with the Kazakh Ambassador to Greece, Alexey Volkov.

The Deputy Minister referred to the long-standing ties between the two countries, with the historical and extensive diaspora presence in Kazakhstan and the cities of Almaty and Aktau, in particular, as the main point of reference. The Deputy Minister also touched on the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries, with their large diaspora able to serve as a channel for further rapprochement.

In turn, the Kazakh Ambassador, Αlexey Volkov, referred to the very good relations between the two countries, underlining the prospects for the promotion and growth of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as education and culture.
