Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantinos Vlasis received the new Exarch of the Holy Sepulchre in Greece, Archimandrite Raphael, at his office today.
The Deputy Minister congratulated the Reverend on his new duties and expressed the Greek government’s support for the Jerusalem Patriarchate and Patriarch Theophilos III, underscoring the importance of the Patriarchate’s role in safeguarding Greek Orthodox tradition in the region.
The Exarch of the Holy Sepulchre thanked the Deputy Minister for Greece’s continuing interest and support and briefed him on matters pertaining to the Patriarchate’s work and actions.
