Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostas Fragogiannis met at his office on Friday, 22 November, with the Cuban Ambassador to Athens, Zelmys María Domínguez Cortina.
During their meeting, they had a detailed discussion of issues pertaining to the bilateral institutional framework for cooperation between the two countries, with the aim of enhancing this cooperation and strengthening bilateral trade and business relations. They discussed the organization of a Greek business mission to Cuba, with emphasis on sectors such as renewable energy sources, tourism and biotechnology.
The Cuban Ambassador briefed Mr. Fragogiannis on the agreements the two countries have concluded on Sports, Culture and Education, and on the pending agreements in the sectors of Health, Justice and Tourism.
