Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Markos Bolaris today received the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Geoffrey Pyatt, with whom he discussed current issues in the Deputy Minister’s portfolio, particularly cultural, educational, and religious affairs.
The American Ambassador referred to the willingness of the US to maintain the positive momentum in Greek-American relations, especially following this year's very successful Thessaloniki International Fair, where the country of honour was the United States of America. The strong will for continuing cooperation was reaffirmed in areas of the Deputy Minister’s portfolio.
