Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Terens Quick, is participating today in a High-Level Meeting on Peacebuilding and Sustaining Peace, which is being convened by the President of the UN General Assembly, M. Lajcak, at the Organization’s headquarters in New York. The main purpose of the Meeting is to assess the initiatives taken to date and the opportunities presenting themselves for strengthening the UN’s role in peacebuilding and sustaining peace.
On the margins of the Meeting, Mr. Quick will also participate in parallel events being organized by the Permanent Missions of Georgia and Belgium to the UN, and he will have a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts.
