Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yiannis Loverdos will visit Istanbul from August 31st to September 2nd, 2025, on the occasion of the beginning of the new Ecclesiastical Year.
Specifically, on Sunday, August 31, the Deputy Minister will attend the Great Vespers for the Feast of Indiction at the Ecumenical Patriarchate, while on Monday, September 1, he will be present at the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church of St. George.
In the context of this visit, Mr. Loverdos will be received by His All-Holiness, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and will hold meetings with representatives of the Association for the Support of the Greek Community Foundations, as well as with educational institutions.
