Within the framework of his participation in the Ministerial Week of the 69th UN General Assembly, in New York, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos will take part at 10:00 (all times local) tomorrow, Friday, 26 September, in the Ministerial Meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) participating states, on the subject of “The crisis in Ukraine, the OSCE and the future of European security.” At 10:30 he will participate in the Summit Meeting on Strengthening Peacekeeping Operations.
Mr. Venizelos will then have successive meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Andorra, Gilbert Saboya Sunyé; Egypt, Sameh Hassan Shoukry; San Marino, Pasquale Valentini; FYROM, Nikola Poposki; and Brazil, Luiz Figueiredo.
Finally, within the framework of the trilateral cooperation inaugurated on the margins of last year’s Ministerial Week at the UN General Assembly, Mr. Venizelos will have a trilateral meeting, at 14:15, with the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulides, and Egypt, S. H. Shoukry.
