Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos talked by phone today with Greece’s Consul General in Mariupol, Dimitrios Papandreou, whom he instructed regarding the immediate investigation of the veracity of reports to the effect that a member of the Greek Ukrainian community was among the victims of yesterday’s bomb attack on the village of Sartana, Ukraine, and the provision of all necessary assistance to the families of the residents of Greek origin of the affected village.
