Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias met on Friday, 8 July, with the Foreign Minister of Canada, Stéphane Dion, within the framework of the proceedings of the NATO Summit Meeting, in Warsaw.
During the meeting, which took place in a constructive atmosphere, there was an examination of the course of bilateral relations and a discussion of ways to further strengthen the political cooperation between the two countries. It was agreed that political consultations will be carried out between the two Foreign Ministries.
Finally, the two Ministers exchanged views on international and regional issues impacting the global security environment, and Mr. Kotzias invited his Canadian counterpart to visit Greece.
